Symphonic Band is a great musical experience for all incoming students to Aloha High School. This band primarily focuses on music that is educational in value and develops the musicianship of its members. The Symphonic Band performs at school concerts and a local band festival. Symphonic Band members are also part of the Pep Band, performing at all home football games.
Extra Curricular Activities
The Warrior Marching Band performs an intricate 6-8 minute musical and visual production, entertaining audience members and showcasing the talented students that make up the band. The band performs at home football games and in Northwest festivals between September and November each year.
The percussion ensemble meets weekly, giving percussionists an opportunity to perfect their skills.
The Wind Ensemble is the most advanced band at Aloha, challenging members by performing the most difficult repertoire. Students audition for membership in the Spring. The Wind Ensemble represents Aloha during recruiting and outreach performances, and performs at all school concerts and in music festivals during the Spring. All members of the Wind Ensemble are also part of the Pep Band, performing during all home football games.
Color Guard & Winter Guard
This unique component of our program offers a varied dance education to its members. Competing with the marching ensemble in the fall as the color guard and on its own in the winter guard season, dance is the foundation of these ensembles. Multiple groups study various dance disciplines including ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop and African. Strength conditioning, Pilates and yoga are also employed throughout the program.
Each Spring, Aloha produces a musical that is a coordinated effort between Drama, Choir, and Band.
